I am a movie buff, and I am sure many others are too, based on how many times trailers (before a movie comes out) have broken the internet. Movie trailers are some of the most exciting things to see before a movie comes out. They give us a sneak peek at the plot, characters, and even the music. Some movies have amazing trailers, while others leave us wanting more.

Movie trailers alone generated more than $1 billion in revenue in 2017. In 2021, they skyrocketed to up to 21.3 billion U.S dollars, up from 11.8 billion dollars a year earlier - an annual growth of 80.5%.

Here are seven of the best movie trailer examples from the last decade.

Spider-man: No Way Home (83 million views on YouTube)

Avengers: Infinity War (253 million views on YouTube)

Avengers: Endgame (149 million views on YouTube)

Furious 7 (74 million views on YouTube)

Godzilla vs. Kong (102 million views on YouTube)

The Lion King (72 million views on YouTube)

Frozen 2 (100 million views on YouTube)

There are some honourable mentions: Harry Potter, The Matrix, etc. that were epic and some when the internet wasn't as prevalent. What are some of your favourites that made you want to watch the movie?
