AirMobile is a mobile data product by Afrihost. There are two types of services available: prepaid and month-to-month. With prepaid, you can pay as you go and top up whenever you need to.

If you opt for the month-to-month package, you'll be billed on the 1st day of every month and your data will be topped up automatically until you decide to cancel.

But how does it all work?

AirMobile runs on the MTN network, so if your signal is good on MTN, you should have no problems. Did we mention that we have an awesome app that is connected to clientzone? Both the app and clientzone make it super easy for you to do anything you need on AirMobile. Here are a few examples of what you can do:

  1. Get started! By either registering a profile or signing up for a package.
  2. Run out of airtime or data? No problemo! Simply top up. (You have the option to set auto top ups too)
  3. We have AirShare, which allows you to transfer data or airtime to other AirMobile numbers.
  4. Check your airtime and data balances.
  5. Make changes to your account or personal information
  6. Access invoices, and make payments.
  7. Get support on the app.

In short, there is very little you cannot do on the app. We weren’t joking when we said, we’re seriously different!

Reasons we’re seriously different

  • You and anyone you refer will get 5GB each.
  • Your data expires at the end of the following month
  • Airtime expires after 12 months

  • How do I sign up?

All sign-ups are done online; on the website, clientzone, or app.

  • Why are my RICA documents being rejected?

If your RICA documents are rejected, the reason for rejection should be stated on the

rejection email. Some of the most common reasons are outdated, unclear, or invalid

documents. The documents we require are stated in the email we sent.

  • Where is my SIM card? It has not been delivered.

Sim card delivery takes 3 to 7 working days. Deliveries that take longer are usually due to a

problem with the address or outstanding RICA documents.

  • Where do I get more data or airtime?

The only way to top up is via the app or clientzone. You can contact us too for assistance

with a top-up.

  • Why can’t I connect to the internet?

The most common reason here would be the APN. Always check that the APN is correct

and that you have data. You can Dial *136# to check balances.
