Routers come with a default Wi-Fi name and password, but those can be easily obtained by a simple internet search (in some cases). Changing your internet password will not only make it more memorable but also more secure.

Follow these three easy steps to change the Wi-Fi name and password:

1. Open your preferred web browser, enter http://192.168.3.1 into the search bar and press enter. Enter your login details.
   
   
   
   
2. Once you’ve logged in, click on ‘My Wi-Fi’.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the Wi-Fi network name and change it, then select the Wi-Fi network password and change it. Click on ‘Save’ once done so that the changes can be applied.
   
   

Once the changes have been applied, your new Wi-Fi name will appear as one of the available networks. To connect to it, use your new password.
