Ever noticed how easy it is to get caught up in the December festivities? From the parties to the gifts and even those unnecessary visits to the mall where you always end up buying things you never needed in the first place? It’s only the first month of the year and we’ve found ourselves feeling like January is a whole 2 months long!
Here’s some of our spending regrets!
“Spending money on a PS4, before moving to my new apartment. Now I don’t have any rent money this month.”
“I spent an amount shy of R1000 on table-cloths that I realised I actually hate!”
“A pair of pants that looked good in the fitting room, and made me look square in the mirror at home!”
“Buying gifts for way too many people and only realising afterwards, it was never in my budget.”
“All the liquor I spent on in December that I cannot account for today!”
“I gifted myself with a second-hand drone which only worked for like two hours! Well, that was a waste.”
“I bought a headboard with pedestals that honestly could have waited. It was a really impulsive decision!”
